This is what I heard from Daniel Negreanu, who is a very famous poker player usually playing high stacks anywhere. In one episode of HSP, he commented a hand which Mike Madthow was against XXX. Mike limped with KJs UTG and XXX held 88 in late position, raising like 20bb when 2 more limpers were ahead. Mike insta-shove, two limpers fold and XXX is thinking. DN now commented: "this is not good poker". For me this is absolutely true. The best scenario if Mike get called is coin flip and good poker player should really avoid it. Otherwise, bunch of variance would occur and may not be a profitable style to play in a long run.

Yesterday when I raised 99 on CO, getting 3 bet on the button who is a TAG, 16/13 type of player. I was just a bit angry because many ppl on the table 3 bet a lot so I just shove and hope to get called by AK AQ. BUT he called and showed AA. I lost 100bb on that hand. Couple of hands later, the same scenario happens. I had 99 on CO, making standard raise and got 3 bet from the same guy on the button. Then I STILL decide to shove and he STILL had AA. Then I left the table quickly because I know I probably lose more against the same guy since I was full of tilt.
